Our "certified organic" beef supply chain is set up geographically so as to drought proof our supply for 12 months of the year. The area our suppliers cover ranges from as far west as the Northern Territory, north as far as Mt Isa and
south to the Gippsland in Victoria.
Each area has its own distinct story to tell and the environmental conditions are as diverse as you will see anywhere in the world.
The Organic Meat Company supplies meat to both domestic and export markets, and as such we have two specifications to satisfy our customers needs:
- Domestic: 200kg DW - 260kg DW, 0-2 teeth, 5-22 mm of fat cover.
- Export: 280kg DW - 400kg DW, 0-4 teeth, 5-22 mm of fat cover.
